Exchange in history
The topic we chose is the Afador dog. We chose this topic because we think it’s going to be different than other topics. Also we were interested in animals and how they were breed across the world. It makes us want to know more about the history of these animals. Don't you ever wonder how and where did all these different dog breeds come from.
Many people might ask us why would chose this topic. We chose it because all of us in our group can relate to dog. We all have dogs at home so why wouldn’t we choose such a topic. We can be able to explain the whole and timeline of this dog breed. We did most of our research online. We found a lot of interesting thing about this dog history that we didn’t know anything about. These dogs are one the most intelligent breed with their broad behaviors. These dogs can be found from all over the world and had been distributed through time. These are also very useful. Farmers train these dogs to work on the farm. They would take on the responsibilities of any other farm dog. They are known to be trained as guard dogs on the farm. These dogs are breed between the Labrador retriever and Afghan hounds. All three dogs have certain similarities.
We chose to do our project using a website, because it’s a fun way to learn new things about dogs. Yes everyone might use a poster board but not everyone do websites. We chose to do a website because it's more simple yet interesting at the same time. Also since technology is big now it's also a more easy way to look at our project online. Also it's easier to set up. We don't have to go out and buy poster boards and waist paper on this project. it can be easily done anywhere and anytime as long as you have access to an computer.
This topic fits this years theme because we are going to explain how the history of the afador is originated from Labrador retriever and the Afghan hounds. We will be explain how all three of these dogs have similarities. Exchange in history and how it was done. We will show you the interesting history of the animals and how they were exchanged from country to country.
For my research we looked up mixed dog breeds and saw a different breed we have never heard of. So then we did research on that breed and found out how it was breeded and why. Then we looked up two other breeds that was similar to the first dog breed I chose. we looked up two other breeds that were mixed with labrador retriever. The two other breeds was an American bulldor which is also mixed with the american bulldog and the other is Labraheeler which is mixed with an Australian cattle dog.
